Cogswell Polytechnical College graduate, Jim Miguel, will assume the reins of the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department on July 6, 2010. Chief Miguel earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cogswell in 2002 and majored in Fire Administration.
