Gary Shapiro, President and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association, says while everyone has heard about the big technology names at the recent 2013 Consumer Electronic Show – the Qualcomm, Samsung and Verizon crowd – it was the thousands of smaller exhibitors, from brand-new start-ups to struggling enterprises, who were the heartbeat of the event.
While their booths overflowed with innovative ideas, it takes a Ninja mentality to survive. A Ninja Innovator, a term coined by Mr. Shapiro, must be smart, passionate and relentless and must also have an unyielding desire to constantly win. That may mean finding the right people – Ninja people – to keep your company growing.
